Can I drive my rental car into Poland, Czechia or Austria?

Yes. Every EasyCar is cleared for cross-border travel across the EU and the Schengen area, including Poland, Czechia, Austria, Germany and Hungary. Let us know your itinerary at booking so the paperwork is ready in advance.

Is the Slovak motorway vignette really included?

Yes. The Slovak electronic vignette is registered to the car for the full duration of your rental at no extra cost. Drive any motorway in Slovakia without buying a separate sticker.

What happens if I damage the car?

Every rental includes full insurance, with no excess on glass or tyres. For other damage the most you would pay is your €100 security deposit; anything beyond that is covered by the policy.

Is there a mileage limit?

Kilometres are unlimited within Slovakia and neighbouring EU countries. Drive every mountain pass you like, with no per-kilometre charges and no daily cap.

Can I pick up the car at Poprad-Tatry Airport at 11 PM?

Yes. Late pick-ups outside our standard 08:00–22:00 hours can be arranged at the airport with at least 24 hours notice. A small after-hours fee may apply for arrivals after midnight.

Are snow chains required in winter?

Chains are required on some Tatras passes between November and April when conditions demand it. We lend them free on request, just tell us at booking that you plan to drive into the mountains in winter.

Can I add a second driver?

Yes. A second driver costs €5 a day. Both drivers must present a valid driving licence held for at least one year at hand-over.

Does the deposit have to be on a credit card, or can I use a debit card?

The €100 security deposit can be held on either a credit or debit card. We do not accept cash deposits. The hold is released within a few business days of return.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up, full refund, nothing to claim. Cancellations inside 48 hours forfeit the first-day rate; the remainder is refunded.

What if my flight is delayed?

Send us your flight number at booking and we track it. If your flight is late, the pick-up time shifts with it automatically. No late fee.

Is there a fee for a baby or child seat?

Child seats are free. Tell us the child's age and weight at booking and the right seat is fitted before you arrive.

What is the fuel policy?

Full-to-full. You get the car with a full tank and return it full. If the tank is not full on return, we charge the missing fuel at the local pump price plus a small refuelling fee.
